Storygeeks evolved out of my many years of teaching story development to thousands of novelists, creative nonfiction writers, and screenwriters. 

Over the years, it became clear that beyond delivering my live workshops and classes (Stanford University, Writers.com), many students (and the general public) were also interested in self-directed courses they could take anytime to explore new story development topics or get refreshers on important topics they've already learned, but maybe felt ready for a tune up. 

So, I decided to set up a Storygeeks learning portal for short courses, full courses, pre-recorded webinars, and more making it all on-demand and self-directed. This means you get to control your own time — and prices can be a fraction of live, online workshops.

It's all win-win, as far as I'm concerned. 

As well, Storygeeks.com is a place you can sign up for one-on-one story coaching using my Writers Workflow method and find community through the Storygeeks Community membership portal.

I created this site to be a Swiss Army Knife of story development tools, tips; and down-dirty, get-it-done writer resources—or what I like to call your storytellers toolbox.
